Outtakes from Mary Katrantzou's S/S 2011 collection. I only recently came across Katrantzou and have to say she has quickly become one of my favourite, current fashion designers. Her signature is her prints; infusing Surrealism and Trompe l'oeil with striking digital graphic work. Sculpting the female body, this collection was inspired by the interior design sets of Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton; a nod to her architectural background. The choice of whimsical colours, strong pastels set against soft backgrounds add to its beauty.

Vogue Nippon - Pop Art!
This is what happens when talented people from across the design and
creative industry work together; a wonderful spectacle! This shoot was
for the March issue of Japanese Vogue, produced between photographer Lacey, illustrator Craig & Karl and make up artist Andrew Gallimore. Their fresh twist and reference to Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein makes for vivid eye candy! An exhibition showing Lichtenstein's work is currently on at the Tate Modern until 27th May; hopefully I get to see it before it ends.

Pick Me Up 2013 Exhibition
Last Wednesday, I and a few friends headed to Somerset House to visit the annual, Pick Me Up Graphic Arts Exhibition. There was a lot to feast your eyes on, if you have a chance go see it, the exhibition ends tomorrow! Here is a little taste; please excuse some of the low quality snaps!
